On 1 December ChipsAway franchisee Paul Geary takes over the neighbouring business to create ChipsAway Ipswich, giving customers an improved, streamlined service.

The new business will operate from one base in Anson Road, Martlesham Heath Business Park (next to BT, Tesco, Next and M&S) and will serve customers in Ipswich, surrounding areas and Suffolk Coastal. The ChipsAway unit at Whitehouse, near Asda, will close.

Bringing the two areas together makes sense for customers. ‘In the past’, explains Paul ‘customers who lived in IP4 popped it to see us for a quote and we had to redirect them to the other franchise at Whitehouse. Having just one ChipsAway franchise operating in the town and up the coast will eliminate any confusion.’
