Smart Repair Technician
Position Details
- Core hours 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday, Saturday 9am – 12pm on a rota basis (paid as overtime time and a half).
- Flexibility expected during peak periods.
- Must have an outstanding work ethic, a mature ‘can do’ attitude, be punctual and able to act on feedback.
- Time management and work efficiency skills essential.
- Candidate must have a passion for the industry and vehicle repairs that support the SMART Repair Technician purpose, this is a fast paced working environment.
- Workshop based role.
- Preparing and painting vehicles, dent work, plastic welding and panel replacements.
- Providing estimates to customers (training given for this).
- Working as part of a team to complete a daily work schedule in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- On the job experience as a SMART Repair Technician / Mobile SMART Repair Technician or in a body shop is preferred, this is a fast paced working environment.
- Competent to use dent pulling equipment.(training given)
- Relevant vehicle repair qualifications an advantage, including EV and hybrid NVQ Level 3, but can be completed in the role.
- Knowledge of running own business preferred.
- Bonus scheme offered upon completion of probationary period.

- Pay: £25,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
